Ladbrokes have put Radiohead as favourites to headline Glastonbury Festival 2017, with odds of 4/6 for the band to take a slot on any evening.
The company have also listed Guns N’ Roses at a 6/4 to headline and The Stone Roses at 7/4 to headline any of the days at the 2017 bash.
“Many of the usual suspects are favoured in the Glastonbury headliner betting and plenty of fans think it could finally be The Stone Roses’ year,” a spokesperson from Ladbrokes said.
Rumours surrounding Radiohead strengthened hugely in the build up to the ticket sale days last week.
Speaking recently on BBC 6 Music, Radiohead guitarist Ed O’Brien said:
“I go to Glastonbury every year, it’s my carnival. To be asked to play at Glastonbury again would be magic. I also think Glastonbury is like our spiritual home. It is the mother of all festivals… there’s nothing like that one… It would be great to play there.”
Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2017 have currently sold out, although we expect their will be a resale next year.
