Mendip District Council has praised Glastonbury Festival organisers after their annual report showed the lowest ever crime levels at the event.
The report which is gathered each year showed the lowest crime figures ever recorded at Glastonbury with a total of 205 counts; around 1 per 650 revellers.
Michael Eavis has revealed plans to move Glastonbury Festival 100 miles down the road in order to help protect Worthy Farm.
The move is could happen as often as every 5 years and will help the farm land to recover.
The first move is planned for 2019.
Emily Eavis says there are going to be some exciting surprises on the Park Stage at Glastonbury Festival 2017.
It has been 10 years since the stage was included as part of the bash, and the organiser has said that there will be a series of surprises organised to mark the occasion.
“Next year will be ten years since we created The Park area so we are planning some exciting surprises to mark the anniversary,” she wrote on Instagram.
Radiohead look to be the first act to be confirmed for Glastonbury 2017 after official organisers posted a photo depicting a large ‘crop circle’ of Radiohead artwork at the festival site.

Depeche Mode have sparked rumours that they could be appearing at Glastonbury Festival 2017 after they confirmed a new album and European tour.
The electronic band will release their latest album ‘Spirt’ early in 2017 and then start their ‘Global Spirt’ tour.
Ladbrokes have put Radiohead as favourites to headline Glastonbury Festival 2017, with odds of 4/6 for the band to take a slot on any evening.
The company have also listed Guns N’ Roses at a 6/4 to headline and The Stone Roses at 7/4 to headline any of the days at the 2017 bash.
Tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2017 sold out in less than an hour despite major disruptions on the website shortly before going on sale.
Thousands of festival goers flooded to Seetickets at 9am only to be greeted by a ‘website not available’ message.
Coach tickets for Glastonbury Festival 2017 went on sale yesterday (06/10/16) and sold out in just 23 minutes.
It is thought about 15,000 tickets were purchased by fans in total.
Seetickets, the official seller announced that all the tickets had gone on Twitter at 6:23pm.
Next up is the general tickets sale day, which is on the 9th October 2016 at 9am.
